Carl R. Walls
Apr 10, 2018Walls, 77, of Morgantown, passed away April 5, 2018 at Mon Health Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1940 in Morgantown, a son of the late Everett and Juanita Roderick Walls.Carl was a member of the UMWA and worked as coal miner for Arkwright Mines. In his spare time he enjoyed volunteering with food pantry and Rock Forge Presbyterian Church. He also loved all WVU sports, Pittsburgh Pirates, and camping in Romney.He is survived by his beloved wife Donna Walls; daughter Carla England and husband Mark; brothers James Walls, Thomas Walls, Kenny Walls, Glenn Walls; sisters Sharon Lynch, Carrie Leach, Juanita Hilling all of Morgantown; grandchildren Brandon England and wife Calla, Cole England and girlfriend Brittany Myers, Jeromy Walls; step great grandchildren Cylus and Destin, and his faithful canine companion Missy.In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a son Robert ‘Sonny’ Walls; and two brothers Robert and Don Walls.Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday April 8, 2018 from 2-6pm and again on Monday from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am with Judy Shaver ALT PCUSA officiating.
